BYE!

Gotta go. Some work, some play.

Tumbleweeds here until 5-17-08.

Before I go:

Me and Benny are trying to locate old girlie mags from the 60s / 70s that have racey B&W pinups with headlines like "VIEWS & WHEWS!", "SIGHFUL EYEFUL", "EASY ON THE AAAHHHS" etc. There would typically be just one full page pinup of each model, not a "spread". Very little if any bio on the model. Usually (but not exclusively) black & white cheap halftone images.

Can anybody recall the titles of any of these magazines? Or if there is a generic term for this sort of thing?

Google searches and ebay searches have been fruitless. But a recent google search did lead me to this treasure. What a great song! What a spectacularly sissy guy! What a potpourri of pantied bottoms and spread-eagle legs!

Riddle me this: Why does the gal sing "Ain't got no rain barrel - ain't got no cellar door" as she points to her rain barrel and her cellar door?!?!?

OK, I literally gotta go out the door in 10 minutes.

SEE YA

"Ain't got no" is a double-negative, y'see, so she is (properly) pointing out the rain barrel and cellar door she has. It was a more innocent time, when grammar meant something.

A cellar door is presented as an object of fun. The "playmates" slide down the cellar door with apparent glee. By association, we may suppose that a rain barrel is similarly an object of fun. The woman in the window states that her "dolly is sick" and though she indicates both a cellar door and a rain barrel, she is unable to take advantage of either because she appears to be housebound.

The film "playmates" is perhaps one of the earliest documented (however unconscious or innocent) examples of the adult baby, diaper lover paraphilia, aka infantilism, in which adults take on the role of baby.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adult_Babies

This paraphilia or fetish is much misunderstood and carries a great deal of stigma in our culture. In AB/ DL culture, adults are given the opportunity to free themselves of the guilt, responsibility and stress associated with adulthood, and enjoy the innocence and freedom that we imagine babies might have.

Throughout the US and UK (as well as Thailand) one can find AB/DL resorts where adults, (sometimes in the company of their "mommies") can live out the joys of infantilism where such behavior is accepted encouraged, and cultivated.

God knows what they do with rain barrels.

I've got a ton of those old men's zines, been buying 'em for years if they had either a comics/comix or a horror movie element in them. There's still in boxes and far from unpacked, but I'll keep you and Ben posted if and when they turn up.
