Two weeks ago I posted the sketch of Gran'paw about to wreck. Now here is the finished art of the actual wreck. Just a chunk of it, the actual panel is huge and has Scoutmaster Glick in it and the exterior of the front end of the truck and the thing he is smashing into - it's incredibly busy. Probably too busy. I am keeping a printout of issue one in front of me as I ink, trying to maintain a consistent look throughout the life of this 6-part story. That has always been very hard for me to do. Consistency is so boring, man. While you are actually slaving away, it is like a big giant log tied around your neck. Maybe that's just me. Maybe it comes naturally to some artists.
PLEASE NOTE: Runaway Comic is NOT a full-color comic. I just colored this pic of Gran'paw because I wanted to.
