gag station game

Here's an excerpt from the newest "GAG STATION" masthead for Nickelodeon Magazine's The Comic Book. I have the proud honor of being the guy that does the GAG STATION mastheads every issue. This art is not for the issue that is on the stands right now. It is for the issue that is going to the printer right now. So let's play a game. The first person to correctly describe what is happening in the complete masthead wins one of my FABULOUS PRIZES, just like Mickey recently won! As an added bonus, I will actually mail your prize RIGHT AWAY, and you won't have to wait and wait and wait like Mickey!

If nobody gets it by April 15, I'll award the prize to the closest guess. Decision of me is final.

question #3: (cont'd from this)

who are some of your influences?

Bill Elder, George Herriman, Walt Kelly, Marie Severin, Zap/Arcade/Raw/Weirdo, Monty Python, the Usual Gang of Idiots, Salvador Dali, just about any old children's comic from the 40s, just about any old magazine from the 40s, any skin mags I could get my hands on in my teens, Al Capp, Johnny Hart, Jack Benny, Fred Allen, Johnson Smith catalogs, National Lampoon in its hayday, my dad, my Aunt Jane, Mr. Rogers, Captain Kangaroo, Friendly Giant, Melvin Monster, Sugar and Spike, Isaac Asimov, Ray Bradbury, Dalton Trumbo, Fleischer Studios, Disney Studios, on and on and on

The Contest:

Is it a girls with a portable lemonade stand? Something to do with lemonade.

as shawn detected it is a "lemon" gag.... (that parts given away in the name of the jpg)

So, I'll guess one step further that she's squirting lemonade into the mouth of:
a. Clifford The Big Red Dog
b. The Jolly Green Giant (or some other friendly giant)
c. the passangers or pilot of a plane flying by....

Yeah, that one was way too easy, especially since I forgot to change the lemon name - D'OH!!!
OK, contest over, TWO WINNERS! Your fabulous prizes are now being calculated.
See this afternoon's post for stunning news and explanation of why I was so distracted that I left the name "lemon" on the jpg and actually thought this was a plausible contest.

In my own defense, I didn't look at the nake of the jpeg - the little yellow nub sticking down from the top just looked so lemon-y.

Also, my login secret word is 'bnpoo'. Tee hee!
