how I spent my saturday

GOOD NEWS BAD NEWS

I finally went through all the TMNT original art and got it organized. That's the good news - I can tell you exactly what is available, and the list is copied below.

The other good news is, you can still get it for $60 per page THIS WEEK ONLY - first week of April.

The bad news is, after going through all this art and seeing it all again - Benny's right! I'm crazy to sell some of this stuff for $60 per page! Even if it has been buried in a cabinet under a massive pile of junk for years!

SO, that's the deal. This week only, $60 per. After that, I'm going to try to put together a real online "store" with scans etc, and pricing per page.

BUT! Even THEN, you won't be able to beat my low LOW prices! Here at Crazy Pumpie's Discount Comic Art Barn, our prices are INSANE!!!

The following TMNT original art pages are SOLD.

All others are UNsold.

NO cover art is available, sorry.

TMNT 16 SOLD pages:
1, 6, 12, 14, 15, 22, 23, 25, 26, 27, 32
All other pages are UNsold, but please note:
I only have the BOTTOM TIER of page 28. The top 2/3 of that page is SOLD.

TMNT 22 SOLD pages:
1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 14, 15, 16, 17, 25, 26, 29, 33, 34, 35
All other pages are UNsold, but please note:
I only have the "ANYBODY HOME?" panel of page 27. The rest of that page is MIA.

TMNT 23 SOLD pages:
4, 20, 21, 22, 29
All other pages are UNsold, but please note:
Page 1 and page 2 are hand-lettered pages, with art from issue 16 photocopied and pasted on. No actual original drawings on page 1 and page 2.

All pages are approx 11" x 17", very clean art on heavy bristol. Some special effects are glued on photocopied material (I did not meticulously hand-draw all the spiraling TV test patterns and stuff like that!)

THANKS AGAIN to all who have inquired!

You know how me and Eeteed are always looking out for your interests?

Well the best way to make a buck on this stuff is to use your Fantagraphics connection, (under the pretense of promoting Runaway Comic) to get some free table space so you can sell them at the New York or San Diego conventions. With the new TMNT movie (and subesequent sequels) these are gonna be HOT HOT sizzl'in HOT.

You can also do TMNT sketches for big cashola. I'm tell'in you, the TMNT thing is GOLD for you right now! You just need to exploit it!

As a fringe benefit you might sell a Runaway comic or two.

Yeah!
Jed is right.
CASH IN, PUMPIE!

That movie is number one at the box office for two weeks in a row.

My advice to all you blogticipants is to BUY IT ALL THIS WEEK! Crazy Pumpie has flipped, and YOU are the ones to take advantage of it! Sixty bucks a page today. . . $30,000 a page twenty years from now when the importance of graphic novels finally hits people.

I'm just sayin'.

Yes, thanks for the con idea.

Here's the thing about cons.

No, wait, actually, I think I'll blog it out in the store, not back here in the stock room.

THANKS, guys.

I live in Callyfornyer! I'd go to the San Diego con and wear a Mark Martin mask at a table! Or no mask- I'd just be there as a member of Mark's Posse! (That's pOsse!)

Jed n' Benny are right. This is prime big buxx art for the TMNT fans.

Pumpie!!! I cashed in on Rick Bradford's "Sale".
I lost out on the Lasagna mini, but I already had that. But I got the Bissette Howie, the Mary Fleenor/Worden/Arsenault jam, and the Same Henderson/Arsenault thing.

What a HAUL!!! You know how I've wanted one of Mary Fleenor's things.
And like the rest of them are chopped liver!

WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!

OK... what I want to know, is if Benny was being excessively clever by referencing the Silent "e" reference in the strip he bought... or if that is just a typo????? Wha CAN turn Sam into the Same?
