the last turkey tale and more toys

from hemlockman:

You vant toikeys? Ve got toikeys!

Mark!

I went hiking today in the Pisgah National Forest. I had gone to climb a mountain called Laurel Knob. As we were turning down the gravel road leading into the forest, we saw the largest flock of wild turkey any of us had ever seen. We stopped counting at fifty! It was amazing. Males strutting around with their fans fully unfurled. Females checkin' out the meat market or just ignoring the puffed up bastards! I've never seen anything like it. I couldn't get them all in one shot.

Bob.

from the other mark m:

MM,

Jed mention liking some of the Godzilla creatures. Here is what is on my monitor here at the office.

To OTHER MM:

The radioactivity from that collection and your computer could be the answer to this country's energy problem.

Nice collection!

Though, I tend to be an original 1954 model-fan, myself.

That would explain the constant stream of 1960's Toho music going through my head.

I'm partial to the lil fella, and of course the Smog Monster...

Cool! I especially dig the walking crab anus on the far left!

Me personally...I'm a Gamera fan. Not the goofy kiddie Gamera with the acrobatic high trapeze monsters, but the original and then the recent trilogy remakes in the 1990's. Those are kick ass! I had high hopes that when Godzilla 2000 came out that we would see the final showdown between Godzilla and Gamera but it didn't happen.

You're a true nerd if you can name all of the monsters.
