this stuff is awful

I was pretty sure it would suck, but you never know. It could be surprisingly great. I had to find out.

In this case my uneducated prejudice against turnip juice turned out to be correct.

My uneducated prejudice in favor of deep-fried sardines also turned out to be correct. YUM! (no link because it was an appetizer at a restaurant, not a packaged product with a website.)

Deep Fried Sardines! WOW! I bet you're a cracklin' man too. Am I right?

And yet somehow I still want to try turnip juice now that I know it exists!

Hmmm, fresh turnip juice.....Did you try the regular or the spicy? I am one of the strange people who actually like raw turnip, so I certainly would have given it a try. It does sound quite 'unique' though. Maybe one of those aquired tastes!!

You didn't try them together, did you?

I did not try the turnip juice and sardines together.

I'm not sure what a cracklin' man is...

It did NOT taste like turnips, which I loathe. It was very salty and adulterated. It tasted like nothing I've ever tasted. It was disgusting!

Colin, it may be cheaper to fly to Europe and track it down, than to order it from turnib.com

Maybe you should have tried it with a dollop of mayo? And a cherry on top?

I find V8 to be very salty and adulterated, but I think that's what I like about it...
