Now you've got me wondering who this guy was. Have you looked him up?
The cover of the book looks as if the publisher requested that he draw something "like Dr. Seuss" to catch the public's eye.
People forget what a monster influence Seuss had on the children's books industry in the early to mid 50s. And beyond, of course, but it was just such a huge monster of a wave when it first hit.
