I can answer that! Sort of... This thing "ends" with gag #16. But does anything ever really end? Who's to say I won't explore other possibilities with these characters in the future? Doyle tried to kill Holmes, and you see where that got him!
I guess Fritz the Cat is truly dead. But I'll believe it when Crumb dies! Until then, there's always a chance he could do a new Fritz comic!
