CDWM!

Come Draw With Me is back from the dead! And this is the coolest one yet, because YOU can be part of Runaway Comics history, and ME and Mark Landman won't have to fill that grandstand up with people! Everybody is a winner!

As you may or may not know, beginning with issue 2 of Runaway Comic, the back quarter of the comic turns into a little zine called Jabberous Offline. This back cover of Runaway #3 pulls double duty as the FRONT cover of Jabberous Offline #2!

So I think it is only fitting that all you jabberous homeys be represented in the front row! eeteed, Jed, Slatts, bonzogal, Lemos, Mickey, Benny, Sweethang, Colin, Bissette, Lil Mikey Dobbs... even you, Mr/Ms Homey I Stupidly Forgot! Click the link above and send warm bodies!

ah, umm. do u want the pic to be line art, which u will then digi-paint?
or do u want the pic fully rendered?
also, the template figure seems kinda BIG when printed out. i mean, if i send u a pic that was drawn that big, won't all the lines and details fall out when the pic gets shrunky-dunk to the needed size?

good questions!

1. I want you to send me a full-color character. Colored line art or fully painted... or even DUOTONE! I don't really SUGGEST duotone, I'm just saying it is the variety of different styles that will make it so interesting.

2. The big template character is 72 dpi. The comic book cover is 300 dpi. When I drag your character over into the master file, it shrinks a lot... but you are right, I will still need to shrink it some more to squeeze it into the crowd. So, ah, umm, yeah, I would not go TOO crazy with the details - but you'll be surprised how much does survive. I usually am.

"hmmmm...", he said sticking his tongue out and tapping his chin. "I'll conjure up somethin', by crackie!"

oh, and about your 33 and third delima... HELL, send me the Skillet & Leroy biscuit and I'LL record it for you!

I'm gonna draw me up somethin' purdy! Even though I don't know what "duotone" or "line art" or "details" are...

Hoo-hah! (well, it seemed like the appropriate thing to say...)

eteed; the template does indeed seem big 'cause we're working at a whopping 400 DPI RGB (3440 x 4860 pixels), so like Mark said, it does tend to shrink when placed on the master file. However, your line will stay really nice at that resolution. I just wanted to mention this to make sure no one does their work at a lesser resolution that'd require enlarging.
