Wow, canned weiners with barbecue sauce. I don't know why they bothered packing the sauce in that fancy little sack - Who in their right mind would pass on the sauce when wolfing down their canned wieners???!! Hell I might dip them in motor oil just to get that canned taste off of them ;-)
Yes! I have seen this -- it's one of my favorite ads for horrible 50's cuisine. This is most likely the era when "9 out of 10 doctors recommend Camel cigarettes!" I rec'd "Gallery of Regrettable Foods" one year for a gift -- great coffee table book:

Now, Mark, you eat canned vienna sausages, which I consider to be in a similar category. I honestly think you'd enjoy a sack o'sauce in a can o'meat!
